Synth Block Diagram Research and Design Patterns

 What started as a few random investigations seems to have given me quite some insight into synth design.

• Korg PCM synths are pretty much all the same.
• You can better understand what the Kronos synth engines can do by comparing them to other synths.
• What makes a great hybrid synth? 3 Osc, multiple OSC types, multi timbral and modular signal paths.

I would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on and how you use block diagrams and any hybrid synths (soft or hard) that I have overlooked and should check out.
