Overview
Well I have a bit of paper that says Mechanical Engineer which I have always seen as a "jack of all trades degree". This pretty much reflects my life that I can pretty much anything and make a half reasonable job when I put my mind to a task.
Minuses. Well I was recently asked this which is not something I do often. Probably my ability to procrastinate which is related to my tangential thought process and my slightly dogmatic views (blame my maternal family genes).
Why Rail, Renaissance and Recreation? These are all things I am somewhat passionate about. This blog is my attempt to capture some of the outflow from my brain and perhaps to focus my way forward in a few areas of interest.
Rail
I ended up in rail by accident and have stayed because it does suit my nature. I am not so much passionate about rail but the challenges of providing timely, relevant, optimal transport solutions.
Renaissance
I see the "Teenies" as a time of change. Perhaps everyone sees their time as one of change. Perhaps I am just getting older ... perhaps I just need a change. I am very much a support of open and new business models for everything. Gone are the days of "what I have you don't have" and welcome to the brave new world of "equity in life".
Recreation
Almost as important work and high ideals is to vent, wind down and redirect your energy through a balanced approach to life. I am working towards the peak fitness in my life and always purported (although no always enacted) to have "lifestyle funding" rather then a job
